Age Limit : 28/30/35 years respectively for JRF/SRF/RA on the date of application. Age relaxation is applicable as per Govt. Rules.
Scale of Pay : As per IACS, and Govt. Rules.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Candidates applying for JRF should have first or high second class B.Sc. and M.Sc degree in physics with minimum average of 55% marks in B.Sc.(Hons.) and M.Sc. Candidates must qualify NET (CSIR/UGC/LS) or GATE. Candidates applying for SRF should have first or high second class B.Sc. and M.Sc degree in physics with minimum average of 55% marks in B.Sc.(Hons.) and M.Sc. Candidates must qualify NET (CSIR/UGC/LS) or GATE and two (2) years research experience. Candidates applying for RA should have a Ph.D. Degree in physics or materials Science
How to apply for above post :The interested candidates may attend the walk-in-interview with a complete resume (mentioning email address) and photocopies of all certificates, reprints etc. along with the original certificates of qualification, experience etc. The candidates will be called for a
walking interview on 4th March at 12:00 hrs in the Department of Solid State Physics. No TA will be admissible for attending the interview.
