Indian Institute of Technology, IIT, Applications are invited from Indian Nationals with exceptional academic record in teaching, good research record and valuable industrial experience relevant to teaching and Research for full-time faculty positions of Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor and Assistant Professor on Contract to carryout teaching and research in the following three disciplines. 1. Computer Science & Engineering, 2. Electrical Engineering, and 3. Mechanical Engineering.
1. Professor : No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Applicants should be below 35 years of age preferably on date of interview.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000/- AGP Rs. 10500/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D. with First Class or equivalent in the appropriate discipline, with at least First Class academic record throughout from 10th Class to Ph.D. Degree. At least a minimum of 10 years teaching, research and / or industrial experience, of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor in IITs, IISc, IIMs and IISERs or at an equivalent level in any such other Indian or Foreign Institute.
2. Associate Professor : No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Applicants should be below 35 years of age preferably on date of interview.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000/- AGP Rs. 9500/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D. with First Class or equivalent in the appropriate discipline, with at least First Class academic record throughout from 10th Class to Ph.D. Degree. At least a minimum of 6 years teaching, research and / or industrial experience, of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor.
3. Assistant Professor : No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Applicants should be below 35 years of age preferably on date of interview.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100/- AGP Rs. 8000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : i. Ph.D. with First Class or equivalent in the appropriate discipline, with at least First Class academic record throughout from 10th Class to Ph.D. Degree.
ii. At least a minimum of 3 years teaching, research and/or industrial experience, from the date of defending the Ph.D. Thesis (duration while pursuing Ph.D. Program is not be included).
4. Assistant Professor on Contract : No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Applicants should be below 35 years of age preferably on date of interview.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100/- AGP Rs. 6000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Fresh Ph.D. with First Class or equivalent in the appropriate discipline, with at least First Class academic record throughout from 10th class to Ph.D. Degree. Selected candidates.
