College of Vocational Studies, CVS, Applications are invited in the presinbed Application Form for the post of Assistant Professors and Librarian in the various following subjects & Librarian of University of Delhi.

1. Assistant Professors : No of post : 15 Posts

Age Limit : As per University of Delhi Rules.

Scale of Pay : Pay Band-3 Rs. 15,600 to 39,100/- with Academic Grade Pay Rs. 6,0001- plus usual allowances as admissible under the rules.

Essential Qualification & Experience : Good academic record as defined by the concerned university with at least 55% marks (50% for candidates belonging SC/ST for reserve post or those who passed their Master’s Degree prior to 19.09.91 and hold a Ph.D. egree) at the Master’s degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent egree from an accredited foreign University. Besides fulfilling the above qualification the Candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility (NET) conducted by the UGCICSIR or a similar test accredited by the UGC.

2. Librarian :  No of post : 01 Post

Age Limit : As per University of Delhi Rules.

Scale of Pay : Pay Band-3 Rs. 15,600 to 39,100/- with Academic Grade Pay Rs. 6,0001- plus usual allowances as admissible under the rules.

Essential Qualification & Experience : A Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation Science or an equivalent Professional degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading ystem is followed) and a consistently good academic record with knowledge of computerization of Library.Qualifying in the National Level Test conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC.
